DESCRIPTION:FNQ Growers will host a Gala Dinner at the Mareeba Internationa
 l Club on Friday September 13\, 2024 to celebrate and showcase the horticu
 ltural industry of Far North Queensland. \n\nThe annual gala dinner ackno
 wledges the leaders in our industry and the farming businesses of the regi
 on who are implementing new techniques\, planting new crops and utilising 
 innovative technologies to employ people and support local businesses.\n\n
 A highlight of the evening will be announcement of the 2024 winner for the
  Charlie Nastasi Horticultural Farmer of the Year Award. The award recogni
 ses leadership\, innovation and business acumen of farmers in the region.
  \n\nA fundraising auction of locally grown fruit and vegetables will con
 clude the evening with all proceeds going to the local community through a
  selection of community based organisations. \n\nFurther details and tick
